Situation

OneFuture Coachella spun off, as a new nonprofit, after being under the wings of their parent company for 12 years. They needed to turn on nonprofit accounting expertise, and wanted a partner willing to work with them through what they saw as a complex transition. Looking for a fresh start, they wanted financials that were meaningful and transparent to their organization, investor donors and the community. 

OneFuture Coachella didn’t know how to manage the cycle of large grants that were coming in.  They wanted to be a well-run organization, but didn’t have a clear direction on how to get a good view of their financials.
