Background and Experience

Margaret has been described as “a rock star” in the QuickBooks world. She has been using and studying the leading software for small businesses since its inception in the early ‘90s. She traveled the country for five years teaching QuickBooks for Real World Training company. She advised Intuit, the makers of QuickBooks, in developing future versions of the software and she co-authored the certification exam for the QuickBooks Professional Advisor program.

With that background, she has GrowthForce clients singing her praises since she joined the firm in early 2007. Her responsibilities include supervising QuickBooks Systems design and training. Her teaching ability is well-established having been on the full-time faculty at the University of Houston Downtown for ten years.

Her previous position was director of Rio Bend Organization. The non-profit organization was founded by Christine Delay, wife of former U.S. Congressman Tom Delay. Rio Bend runs a planned community of homes for foster families in Richmond, TX.

While helping kids is her passion, her true vocation is to help small businesses grow using QuickBooks, training clients and end users, and sharing all her knowledge of QuickBooks.
